East State Street Center Pre-School

The ESSC Preschool offers before and aftercare services to children ages 2 1/2-5, September to June only. Operating days Mon-Friday 7:30-8:45 then 3:15-5:30. 

During the school year from 8:45-3:15 the preschool operates a Trenton Board of Education District PSD Program of which students are placed solely by the district.

The East State Street center has dually certified teachers as well as certified paraprofessionals.  The ESSC is well into the process seeking the Grow NJ Accreditation.

CYO offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack.

Rutgers Student Nurses visit to teach the students about “Germs”

Small Group Activities

The Trenton BOE provides CYO ESSC with Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy

One on one Nurse if stated within the students Individual Educational Plan (IEP)

Each student is provided with a personal Chromebook with Waterford program installed
